Iran to have more power plants

    Negotiations are under way that Russia may build new nuclear power plants in Iran. 

    This is what Iran’s President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said in his recent interview to the TV channel “Russia Today”.

    At the same time, Iran will also build several atomic power plants on its own, but using foreign experience, the president said.

   On September 3, the first Iranian nuclear power plant “Busher”, which was built with Russia’s help, was started up. It will use Russian fuel, which, after being spent, will be brought back to Russia.
