TEHRAN, May 16 (RIA Novosti) - Iran said on Friday it has submitted to the Russian and Chinese Foreign Ministries a package of proposals on nuclear non-proliferation and other international security issues. A spokesman for the Iranian Supreme National Security Council said: "These countries have promised to closely study the package of proposals and to announce their opinion regarding our initiatives." Tehran has already submitted to UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon and EU foreign policy chief Javier Solana "an array of its own proposals" on the resolution of outstanding international problems, including the long-running dispute over Iran's nuclear program. MOSCOW, May 16 (RIA Novosti) - Russia and Mongolia will increase bilateral trade to $1 billion and above in the next several years, Russian President Dmitry Medvedev said on Friday. Mongolian President Nambaryn Enkhbayar is currently in Moscow on a three-day working visit. "Not so long ago, the goal was to increase our trade to $1 billion, and we will achieve this target in the next several years, and surpass it," Medvedev told Enkhbayar during their meeting in the Kremlin, adding that at present trade turnover was more than $750 million. MOSCOW, May 16 (RIA Novosti) - Evraz Group [LSE: EVR], Russia"s largest steel and mining company, announced on Friday the placement of two Eurobond issues in a volume of more than $400 million. The first issue matures in five years with a coupon rate of 8.875%, and totals $250 million. The second has a term of 10 years, with a rate of 9.5%. In April, the company completed a Eurobond placement totaling $1.6 billion. The group said in a statement it would use the funds raised from the issue for corporate purposes including the acquisition of Canada"s IPSCO Tubulars. MOSCOW, May 16 (RIA Novosti) - Russian telecoms giant Svyazinvest Group posted on Friday a 88.6% year-on-year increase in net profit to 36.9 billion rubles ($1.6 billion) in 2007. Svyazinvest, one of the world"s largest telecoms holdings, said earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA), including among its subsidiaries, amounted to 87.9 billion rubles ($3.7 billion), with pretax profit rising 78% to 51.2 billion rubles ($2.15 billion). Svyazinvest"s sales revenue grew 12% year-on-year to 244 billion rubles ($10 billion), and sales profit increased 17.9% to 51.5 billion rubles ($2.2 billion) in January-March 2008....
