Russia to help safeguard Cambodia’s Preah Vihar temple

Russia will join international efforts to help safeguard the UNESCO World Heritage Preah Vihar Hindu temple in Cambodia, The Khmer Times reported.

A Cambodian lawmaker told the paper that Russia would like to join the International Coordinator Committee (ICC-PV), which is co-chaired by India and China.

“Russia will join as a member of the ICC-PV during Prime Minister Hun Sen’s official visit to Russia in the coming months,” Cambodian lawmaker Sous Yara told the paper.
