Russia Plans Anti-Terrorism Drills Involving CSTO, SCO Countries |

![]() MOSCOW (Sputnik) – The peacekeeping and anti-terrorism drills will also see the participation of India, Pakistan, Mongolia and Vietnam, Salyukov said. CSTO is a military alliance comprising Russia, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan. The SCO alliance comprises Russia, China, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan. CSTO’s key objective is to fight against "international terrorism and other nontraditional threats to security," according to its website. It cooperates with the the UN Security Council’s Counter-Terrorism Committee, the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE), and other regional and international organizations.
