David Cameron's face-to-face talks with Vladimir Putin over the crisis in Ukraine have been brought forward to Thursday, Downing Street has announced.

The two leaders had been slated to meet in Normandy as they attend commemorations of the 70th anniversary of D-day on Friday, but it is now thought that they will speak in Paris on their way to the memorial events.
