$350mln drug batch confiscated in Afghanistan |

The Afghan and NATO military have confiscated a batch of drugs worth $350mln from the rebels, representatives of the International Security Assistance Force reported on Wednesday. This is the largest lot of drugs confiscated in Afghanistan after foreign troops were deployed in the country in 2001. The lot consisted of 100kg of heroin, 6,870 litres of morphine solution, 80kg of opium and 12 tons of chemicals used in drug manufacturing. (TASS)
