India’s naval forces, which are participating in combating piracy in the Gulf of Aden and the Arabian Sea, will equip their ships with special "screaming cannon." The long-range acoustic devices are capable of delivering powerful sonic booms, as well as shouting threats and warnings in several languages. This "non-lethal weapon" is capable of crushing the adversary’s will to resist, by directing at it a sound "ray" of 150 decibels. RIAN
