European stocks have dropped Tuesday, amid mounting concerns about the possibility of a Greek default, after euro-zone finance ministers delayed a decision on the country's next batch of bailout loans.

London stock index was down 2.63%, in Frankfurt and in Paris indexes dropped 3.13 % and 3.31 % respectively.

On Tuesday, Asian stock markets also fell amid fears of Greece’s default, economic situation in the US and slowdown of economic growth in China.

In particular, Japan’s Nikkei Index retreated 1.75%, which is the lowest index over the last six months.   (TASS, RIA Novosti)
