October temperature records were beaten over the weekend in France.

According to Meteo France, the temperature all over the country approached 30 degrees Celsius. A 90-year old record was beaten by 0.4 degrees in Paris where the temperature was 28.8 degrees on Saturday. The absolute October record of 30.1 degrees Celsius was registered in Salon-de-Provence city.

Meteorologists forecast hot weather for the larger part of France until the middle of next week.
