No changes in radiation levels in Russia - Rospotrebnadzor

The radiation levels and other background indicators on the territory of Russia are normal in regard of the reports on a hydrogen bomb test conducted by North Korea, Anna Popova, the head of Rospotrebnadzor and Russia\'s chief sanitary inspector, told Interfax on Wednesday.

"Our permanent monitoring, which we conduct regardless of holidays and working and non-working days, shows absolutely stable radiation levels on the territory of the Russian Federation in general," she said.

"Our monitoring shows a favorable state of the radiation levels and air," Popova said.
