Russia to supply food aid to Afghanistan |

Russia’s Emergency Ministry together with the International civil defense organization is to supply 3,000 tons of wheat to Afghanistan. Now the customs procedures are under way. According to experts with UN’s World Food Program, Russia is one of the most active participants in food security projects. Previously, Russia provided food aid to Afghanistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Cuba, Vietnam and North Korea. (RIA Novosti)
