200 injured in Shanghai Metro train collision |

More than 200 people have been injured in a collision of Shanghai Metro trains. Rescue, firefighting and ambulance teams have urgently arrived at the site of the accident. In 2009, dozens were injured in a similar accident, when two Shanghai Metro trains collided due to electric equipment malfunction. The Shanghai Metro boasts the world’s longest track length of 420 kilometres. Over 7 million people use the Metro in the Chinese city every day.
